Designed specifically for rectangular air ducts, flues, and ventilation pipes, it uses non-metallic flexible fabric as its main body. Relying on fabric deformation to absorb displacement, reduce vibration, and seal, it is a commonly used compensation component in high-temperature, large-diameter ventilation and smoke exhaust systems.

Basic Structure

1. Flexible Skin (Core): Multi-layer composite fabric + rubber/fluororubber coating, temperature resistant, corrosion resistant, and sealing; available in ordinary, high-temperature, and corrosion-resistant types.

2. Frame/Flange: Metal frame or angle steel flange for connection and fixation to the pipeline.

3. Dust-blocking Lining/Diffuser Cloth: Blocks dust and particle erosion, protecting the skin.

4. Limiting Bolts/Tie Rods: Limits excessive stretching, prevents bursting, and withstands wind pressure thrust.

Working Principle

Relying on the stretching, compression, and bending of the flexible fabric, it absorbs axial expansion and contraction, lateral misalignment, and angular deflection of the pipeline, while simultaneously isolating equipment vibration and blocking noise transmission. There is no rigid friction throughout the entire process.

1. Power Industry: Power plant boiler flue, induced draft fan/forced draft fan inlet and outlet, desulfurization and denitrification ducts.

2. Environmental Protection: Dust removal ducts, waste gas treatment, waste incineration, waste-to-energy flue.

Performance Characteristics:

1. Non-metallic compensators mainly consist of flexible compensating components (non-metallic materials), end connectors (flanges or end pipes), adjusting components (threaded tie rods), and thermal insulation materials. They are primarily used for compensating for displacement caused by temperature changes, mechanical vibrations, and foundation settlement in pipeline systems transporting dust, gas, flue gas, coal gas, and other gases.

2. Compensation for thermal expansion: Non-metallic compensators (non-metallic expansion joints) can provide significant multi-dimensional compensation within a relatively small size range.

3. Compensation for installation errors: System errors are unavoidable in pipeline connections; non-metallic compensators (non-metallic expansion joints) can effectively eliminate installation errors.

4. Sound-absorbing and vibration-damping fiber fabrics and insulation cotton themselves have sound-absorbing and vibration-damping functions, effectively reducing noise and vibration in boilers, fans, and other systems.

5. No reverse thrust: Due to the main material being fiber fabric, there is no force transmission. Using non-metallic expansion joints simplifies design.

6. Good sealing performance: They exhibit good sealing performance under various media conditions, and are easy to install and maintain.
