A rectangular metal expansion joint, also known as a rectangular corrugated expansion joint, is a flexible compensation element specifically designed for rectangular cross-section pipes and ducts. Its core relies on the elastic deformation of stainless steel corrugated plates to absorb thermal expansion and contraction, vibration, and installation deviations, protecting the pipeline network and equipment.
1. Corrugated Pipe Body (Core): Multi-layer stainless steel (304/316L), U-shaped corrugations; the more corrugations, the greater the compensation.
2. End Pipe/Flange: Connects to the pipeline, ensuring sealing and strength.
3. Limiting Rod/Frame: Controls the compensation amount, prevents instability, and withstands pressure thrust.
Utilizing the elastic deformation of the metal corrugations:
Axial: Absorbs thermal expansion and contraction of the pipeline.
Lateral: Absorbs installation and foundation settlement due to left/right/up/down offset.
Angular: Absorbs equipment vibration and pipeline torsional deformation with small-angle deflection.
1. Multi-dimensional Compensation: Simultaneously absorbs axial, lateral, and angular displacements.
2. Corrosion Resistance: 316L/duplex steel is suitable for corrosive media such as flue gas, acids, and alkalis.
3. Vibration and Noise Reduction: Flexible structure blocks vibration transmission, reducing fan/equipment noise.
4.Reliable Sealing: All-metal welding eliminates the risk of leakage.
1. Power Industry: Boiler flues in thermal power plants, desulfurization and denitrification ducts, air preheater connecting pipes.
2. Metallurgy: Blast furnace hot blast ducts, sintering machine flues, dust removal systems.
3. Chemical Industry: Waste gas treatment, process ventilation, high-temperature tail gas ducts.
4. HVAC/Municipal: Air conditioning supply and exhaust in large shopping malls/high-speed rail stations, subway ventilation ducts.
5. Building Materials/Environmental Protection: Cement plant kiln tail flues, waste incineration plant exhaust ducts.
