Export Country: Southeast Asia, Malaysia (Overseas Municipal Water Supply Project)
Export Product: Flange Rubber Expansion Joint
Specifications and Pressure: DN50–DN300 / PN16
Export Requirements: Foreign buyers require 100% individual water pressure testing, no bubbles, no leakage, and no deformation.
Pain Points for Export Customers
Overseas projects have strict acceptance procedures and do not accept batch sampling; each unit must be pressure tested individually.
Overseas customers’ biggest concerns:
1. Long-distance sea freight and potential for hidden cracks
2. Small factories do not perform pressure testing, leading to leaks and rework upon arrival and installation
3. Insufficient pressure resistance of the rubber spheres, causing bulging and deformation under high pressure conditions.
Our Factory’s Standard Pressure Testing Process
For this export order, we strictly adhere to the pressure testing process for each unit:
1. Individual Pressure Testing: Each rubber joint is independently and fixedly pressure tested, with flanges aligned and sealing evenly to prevent false pressure tests.
2. Pressure Stabilization and Holding Test: Tested at 2.4MPa high pressure according to PN16 standard, and held for 300 seconds.
3. Three Rigorous Acceptance Standards:
No water leakage or dripping from the sphere
No bulging or localized deformation of the sphere
No leakage or displacement at the flange seal
4. Complete Elimination of Defective Products: Products with minor pinholes, dark lines, or uneven elasticity are immediately rejected and prohibited from export.
Shipping and Usage Results: Containers of products undergo rigorous pressure testing and screening before being packed and shipped to overseas construction sites.
100% of samples were randomly inspected at the customer’s site and all passed inspection. Installation and water connection were successful on the first attempt, with zero leakage and zero repairs.
Foreign customers highly recognize our factory’s export quality inspection capabilities, commenting that the product stability is superior to competitors, and the pressure testing standards are rigorous and reliable. A long-term, fixed procurement cooperation has been established.
