Rubber Expansion Joints for Flexible Vibration Damping, Eliminating Vibration and Leakage Risks of Pump Station Pipe Networks

2026-11-03
During continuous operation of a pump station, displacements caused by pump set vibration, medium water hammer impact, and thermal expansion and contraction of pipelines may, under long-term effects, lead to loose flanges, seal leakage, and even damage to main pump and valve equipment. Relying on the flexibility of rubber spheres, rubber expansion joints absorb multi-dimensional axial, lateral and angular displacements, block vibration transmission, reduce pipeline noise, and cushion impact forces generated by water hammer. Featuring flange connections for easy installation, the product supports optional materials such as EPDM, NBR and fluororubber to suit media including clean water, sewage, oil products, weak acids and weak alkalis. Limit anti-pull-off assemblies can be fitted to prevent excessive displacement from tearing the rubber body. Widely used in pipelines of municipal water supply, sewage treatment and chemical circulating water pump rooms, it effectively reduces the failure rate of pipe networks and ensures stable system operation.
