Specific Applications

1. Used in thermal pipelines to compensate for thermal expansion.

2. Used as universal joints in the vaporization cooling systems of metallurgical equipment (such as blast furnaces, converters, electric furnaces, and heating furnaces) and in coal ash conveying pipeline systems.

3. Used in various pipelines in buildings to prevent damage to pipelines caused by uneven foundation settlement or earthquakes.

Spherical compensators are mainly suitable for pipeline connections in areas with large ground settlement, high vibration, and complex terrain.

After installation on the pipeline, the sphere can rotate freely within a 0-degree angle range around its center of rotation to compensate for pipeline deflection caused by foundation settlement and thermal expansion and contraction.

They offer advantages such as large compensation capacity, small space occupation, low flow resistance, convenient installation, and low overall cost.

Installation Conditions

1. Before installation, the anti-settlement spherical compensator should be checked for its model, specifications, and pipeline configuration to ensure it meets design requirements.

2. It is strictly forbidden to adjust pipeline installation deviations by deforming the bellows compensator, as this will affect the normal function of the spherical compensator, reduce its service life, and increase the load on the piping system, equipment, and supporting components.

3. During installation, welding slag must not be allowed to splash onto the bellows surface, and the bellows must not be subjected to other mechanical damage.

4. After the piping system is installed, the yellow auxiliary positioning components and fasteners used for installation and transportation on the spherical compensator should be removed as soon as possible. The limit device should be adjusted to the specified position according to design requirements to ensure the piping system has sufficient compensation capacity under environmental conditions.

5. All moving parts of the anti-settlement spherical compensator must not be jammed or have their range of motion restricted by external components; normal operation of all moving parts must be guaranteed.
